WORSHIP SERVICES AT FAITH FELLOWSHIP
Faith Fellowship was formed in January of 2009 by a group of Christians who prefer a traditional style of worship. Our Charter Sunday celebration was on September 20, 2009, at which time 165 people became charter members of Faith Fellowship. At the present time, we lease the facilities of The Seventh-day Adventist Church on Lane Allen Road in Lexington for Sunday worship and some weekday events. You will find that our regular services include scripture, prayer, traditional music, and inspiring sermons. Children in grades K-3 may attend Children's Church.
Our Senior Pastor is Dr. Bill Turner. Dr. Turner was formerly the pastor of Central Baptist Church in Lexington and South Main Baptist Church in Houston, among others. He is a wonderfully dynamic speaker, and we are certainly blessed to have his leadership. You can listen to some of his past sermons here or view our worship services on iHigh (http://www.ihigh.com/faithfellowship/). Services are streamed live or you may watch archived services.
We are also blessed to have Rev. Jeff Sames as our Associate Pastor. Rev. Sames leads us in worship and teaches an adult Sunday School class. He also provides compassionate congregational care and handles many of the administrative duties of the church.
Dr. Albin Whitworth is our Music Director. Dr. Whitworth enjoys a worldwide reputation as composer, organist, and director of both choir and orchestra. Look HERE for more information about the music ministry at Faith Fellowship.
Communion is offered once each month and is observed by passing the elements in the pews or by intinction at the altar. Any believer is welcome to share in the sacrament.
Child care is always available on Sunday mornings and for other events as announced. Read more about our Childrens' Programs.
