THE MUSIC MINISTRY AT FAITH FELLOWSHIP

Psalm 149 calls upon us to “sing unto the Lord a new song” and to “sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”

In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul said, “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.”

At Faith Fellowship we love music! If you’re a fan of traditional sacred music, you will be “in Seventh Heaven” whether you come to a regular Sunday morning worship service or to a Fifth Sunday Musicale.

Our Sunday worship service includes spirited congregational singing of traditional hymns and gospel songs. The choir, under the leadership of widely respected Dr. Albin C. Whitworth, enhances the worship with beautiful anthems and solos. In addition, almost every Sunday’s music is accompanied by an instrumental ensemble, the Faith Troubadours, which also entertains at nursing homes and other venues.

The Faith Fellowship choir and orchestra are continuing Dr. Whitworth’s custom of presenting a worshipful musicale on Fifth Sundays. Please check your yearly calendar for Fifth Sundays when our Musicals are held. These programs draw participants from other churches locally and attendees from across Kentucky, and even other states. You will not want to miss the next one!
