CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

We think it is important for children to spend time worshiping with their family in the formal church setting. We also know that children need and enjoy educational and play activities designed for their own age group. So on Sunday mornings, we encourage you to bring your children with you into the sanctuary. Children in grades Kindergarten through third grade are dismissed after the anthem to participate in a worship program designed just for them. A nursery is available for children from birth to second grade. Tammi Griffin is the Nursery Supervisor. Tammi has a lot of experience with children, as she is employed during the week at the Central Baptist Child Care Center, so you may feel confident that your children are in good hands while you worship.

FaithKids Bible Study meets every Sunday morning from 9:30 - 9:45am.

FaithKids is a children's choir for ages 5 through elementary school. They meet every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:30 in the Chapel to learn from an early age how to glorify God through music. One participant recommends it highly, giving it "nine thumbs up!" This energetic group has contributed to our Sunday morning worship service several times. Check out their section of our Photo Gallery.

Children's Bible Study and Worship is in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. For this program, we are using, the “One Room Sunday School” curriculum, a curriculum designed to help children of diverse ages learn in ways appropriate to their age and development. There are also magnificent activities geared at helping children learn important truths about our faith in a fun, creative, and active manner. Parents, while you are experiencing inspiring worship that transforms your life you can be assured your children are engaged in exciting life-changing moments of learning, too, when they’re attending Children’s Worship with us.

Some special activities for the little ones have included an Easter Egg Hunt, a multi-generational one-day Vacation Bible School, and a fantastic Christmas play.
